High voltage DC power is required for early model pre-B2/C2/RT/2 organs to power their internal preamp. The organ received this power from the Hammond tone cabinet, virtually requiring the customer to use the Hammond speaker. Leslie configured the 122 family of speakers to provide this voltage. If you have a Leslie other than one from the 122 family you need a way to supply power to the preamp. This unit will send B+ power (200 volts DC) to the preamp and free you from having to connect the tone cabinet to the organ. Unit is pre-wired and easy to install - requires no soldering. Simply attach the AC power input spade terminals to the AC screw terminals on the preamp, then attach the B+ and ground wires to the preamp B+ and GND screw terminals.
