Tonewheel General Warranty

All items sold by Tonewheel General Hospital are new unless otherwise noted as "experienced". New items are sold with their manufacturer's warranties and are subject to the manufacturer's policies and procedures for returns.

Tonewheel General Hospital can not and will not act in place of the manufacturer; we are not in a position to grant warranty status on items not produced by Tonewheel General Hospital. Customer agrees and understands that the manufacturer's procedures are the only process for warranty service. Tonewheel General Hospital will do everything possible to assist in warranty claims. Customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges.

"Experienced" items are sold as is with the understanding they worked as described when they left Tonewheel General Hospital. Rebuilt or repaired items (amplfiers, preamplfiers) have a one year warranty for labor, and a 90 day warranty for parts not covered under a specific manufacturer's warranty (resistors, capacitors, diodes, etc.).

All items produced by Tonewheel General Hospital (identified by TWG in the item description) returned for warranty will be evaluated to verify their condition; if inoperative status is verified, the item will be repaired or replaced with a new item at the discretion of Tonewheel General Hospital. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and customer is responsible for shipping charges both to and from Tonewheel General Hospital. In order to qualify for warranty status items must not have been subjected to abuse, attempted repair by third parties, or subjected to physical trauma.

All items purchased from Tonewheel General Hospital are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to the customer upon our delivery to the carrier. Insurance is highly recommended and is not included on items sent via USPS; FedEx and UPS include $100 worth of insurance with each package they transport.

Items damaged by freight carriers (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.) will be subject to that carrier's insurance refund policies. Tonewheel General Hospital is not responsible for damage that occurs during shipping, and will not issue refunds for damaged items without first obtaining reimbursment from the shipping company. Customers should note that shipping companies are notoriously slow at settling claims and have an incentive to delay and reject them.

Should a customer wish to file a damage claim, they must be aware that the shipping company may take the item for inspection and ultimately return it to the shipper (Tonewheel General Hospital). Customer explicitly agrees, in requesting a damage claim, to abide by the decision of the shipping company, even if it is not to their liking. Tonewheel General Hospital will not be responsible for return shipping charges to the customer should a damaged item be returned to Tonewheel General Hospital by the shipping company, nor is Tonewheel General Hospital responsible for correcting any damages not agreed to by the shipping company.

Customers who wish to challange these policies agree to be bound by the terms contained in Tonewheel General Hospital's DISPUTES section.

Customers who attempt to circumvent these policies via a credit card charge back hereby expressly agree to reimburse Tonewheel General Hosptial for all charges, lost revenue, and other expenses, including any attorney's fees to recover these amounts, and, to reimburse Tonewheel General Hosptial the sum of $75 per hour or fraction of an hour for time spent attempting to recover these amounts. Customer agrees these charges may be charged on their credit card. Should the credit no longer be valid standard industry collection procedures shall be applied.

That said, we want you to be happy with your purchases. Call or write if that is not the case so we can work out a mutually agreeable solution.
