Expression Pedal Mounted Leslie Switch

Foot activated switch for mounting on Hammond organ expression pedals. The EIS side kick bracket is fitted with a SPST switch that will allow the triggering of chorale/tremolo operation on Leslie 122 or 147 family speakers. The switch is nearly silent and requires very little force to activiate. The bracket is attached to the side of the expression pedal via two screws with Allen heads.

Tone Generator Anchor

Anchor unit and bolt for Hammond B-2, B-3, C-2, C-3, A-100 series, D-100 Series, RT-2, RT-3, and M-series organs. Four of these units are used to secure the tone generator when the organ is moved. Without them manual and pedal wiring can be broken, the start motor mounting plate can be bent, and the generator shelf will turn into saw dust.

TWG Expression Pedal Spring

This reproduction of the expression pedal return spring is custom manufactured using the same type and gauge of steel as the original Hammond part number 012-021865. The pedal return spring serves two purposes.

First, it prevents the expression pedal from dropping to the full swell position when the organist`s foot is removed. Second, it provides resistance to downward motion, giving the organist a measure of feedback while moving the pedal up and down. Check to see if your organ has one in place, and if it does, see if it is the correct spring.

TWG Generator Isolation Bushings (B-3, C-3, A-100 organs)

Hammond organ tone generators were designed to float on a set of springs above the generator shelf. This kept motor and gear noise from resonating through the wooden console case. The generator needs to be secured when the organ is moved to prevent it from swinging around; when it swings the generator studs strike the generator shelf below, turning it into sawdust. This makes ovals out of the previously round generator mounting holes, and tears wires off the generator terminal strip.

This isolation kit permanently secures the generator to the shelf without transmitting noise to the cabinet. The radial support ribs on the mount are out of phase on each side to further aid vibration isolation . Installation requires removing the generator springs and lifting the generator to slide a bushing onto each stud. This is performed most easily by raising the manuals. The bushing end rests in the mounting hole, while a second bushing is inserted on the underside of the generator shelf and held in place with the washers provided and the existing bolt.
